Mission Objectives

To contribute to the aims and objectives of the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine by providing and caring for a physical environment in which we learn and work.

Operational Services aims to do this by:

  1. Providing excellence by best professional advice in relation to the management, operation and maintenance of the estate.
  2. Assisting, advising and providing data to meet LSTM’s strategic priorities.
  3. Being responsive to the operational needs of  LSTM and changing requirements of the LSTM community.
  4. Having regard at all times to the possible impact of estate developments and facilities provision on the local community and the environment.
  5. Seeking effectiveness, efficiency and value for money in respect of all activities undertaken and services provided.
  6. Seeking to maximise client satisfaction, in respect of facilities and services provided, within available resources and compliance with statutory requirements and codes of good practice.
