Valuing and Developing our Staff

The Human Resource Team is responsible for providing a comprehensive and co-ordinated Human Resources service to LSTM management and staff which is consistent with employment legislation and best practice, by providing strategic and operational support. It works closely with all areas of the organisation to deliver an integrated approach to Human Resources across LSTM.

Our aim is to provide a high quality service as the professionals the following areas:

All aspects of human resources policy and staff management
Terms and conditions of employment, equal opportunities and diversity, grievance, discipline and employment legislation
Rates of pay and salaries
All aspects of the recruitment and advertising process
The preparation and issue of all offers of appointment and associated documentation
Staff appraisal
Staff development and training
