Grants & Contract Support Office
The Grants and Contracts Support Office (GCSO) provides a support service to all members of staff who wish to apply for external funding for research, teaching or fundraising.
The GCSO provides advice on preparation and submission of proposals including full economic costing and their review to ensure financial viability and integrity. The team provides financial and contract administration for these grants once awarded and supports the principal investigators, their academic and administrative staff in the financial delivery of their projects.
Research Office
The Research Office provides support to the research community at LSTM. The office provides assistance and guidance in seeking and applying to funding bodies as well as strategically monitoring developments of new funding sources. The office works to ensure LSTM research is effectively governed, appropriately ethically reviewed and in line with LSTM long term strategy and goals. The office works with the Human Tissue Authority to ensure LSTM staff are in compliance with UK regulations relating to use of human tissue for research.
