Student Welfare & Accommodation
Students come to the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine on various courses, lasting from one week to several years.
All students who have been accepted on courses may contact the Student Experience & Accommodation Officer (Sarah.Townley@liv.ac.uk) for help with a variety of welfare-related issues, both prior to and after arrival. Advice can be given on healthcare, cost of living, childcare and schools, English classes, employment, disability, etc.
If you need information on costs of visas and other immigration matters, please contact the Registry Manager (Rebecca.Riley@liv.ac.uk).
Most LSTM students are also registered at the University of Liverpool and will therefore have access to additional facilities. The Student Experience & Accommodation Officer can signpost students to these services, and where appropriate, liaise with these services on behalf of students.
Students can arrange appointments with the Student Experience & Accommodation Officer by email, phone or at the Student Support Desk (open from 09.00-15.00 Monday-Friday).
